Debutant designer, Neha Agarwal brought forth her collection ‘Mille Fleurs – a thousand flowers’ at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014. Bollywood diva, Esha Gupta was the showstopper and she dazzled in her outfit.
Hyderabad-based designer, Neha’s collection is a modern reinterpretation of seventeen century’s French embroidery. ‘Mille Fleurs – a thousand flowers’ is a celebration of magnificent miscellanea of seventeenth century’s regal petit point embroidery and well-defined contemporary silhouettes.
The collection scrupulously defines the brand philosophy of urban styles, radiant hues and experiments with textiles and textures, yet opulent in ornamentation and appeal.
The design flows from figure-flattering western twisters to enchanting indo-western fusion and creates the most idiosyncratic vision. Authentic Indian organic tussar, ahimsa, gicha and muga silk are presented with unconventional quilting details, creating a splendid evening essential.
It’s a tribute to today’s trend setting fashionistas who are flamboyant and vibrant, but still carry the ethnic essence in their hearts.
